Working God’s Way Begins with Working in Unforced Rhythms of His Grace

What does this mean to you?

God Provides Unforced Rhythms

There is an unforced rhythm of grace given to us by God to do what He has called us to do in our businesses/ministries! It’s supernatural! He is our provider!

“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.”

Matthew 11:28-30, The Message

God Provides Grace

What a relief! We don’t have to rely on our own strength to serve the Lord through our businesses/ministries! He provides grace to empower us to do what He has called us to do!

When we begin to feel overwhelmed as Christian entrepreneurs, the world is going to encourage us to work harder, push through, and persevere to the very end. That’s the way the world defines success.

But if God is present in our businesses/ministries, He will provide the grace needed to serve him well and minister to others just as He would. He is our example!

“God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, His Spirit deeply and gently within us.”

Ephesians 3:20-21, The Message

“Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”

God Provides Rest

Rest in Him begins with knowing Him, seeking Him, and inviting Him into every path and step before we begin. What freedom!

God Provides Favor

When the Lord is the head of our businesses/ministries, He gives us the desires of our hearts aligned with His heart. To do the work He has called us to do requires His divine favor and our diligent stewardship.

God Provides Grace Sufficient

Shae Bynes, cofounder of Kingdom Driven Entrepreneur, and author of Grace Over Grind: How Grace Will Take Your Business Where Grinding Can’t asks, “What does living within the grace of one day only look like for me?“ 

If God is sovereign/if He is sufficient, what more do you need to do what He has called you to do in your businesses/ministries?

Our ultimate goal is to serve God and others in a way that brings Him glory and honor in unforced rhythms of His grace!

My next steps:

• Meet with Him daily to invite Him in to every path and every step before I begin.
• Journal to hear Him/until I hear Him; and record my thoughts.
• FOCUS – Follow one Course Until Successful!
