Tips & Tools: Understand and Embrace Your Strengths
TIP:
Understand and embrace your strengths. According to the BusinessDictionary.com strengths are the capital, knowledge, skill, or other advantage that a firm has or can acquire over its competitors in meeting the needs of its customers.
What are your unique strengths that impact your business?
What is your unique area of brilliance?
What are you known for?
Your strengths are a big piece of your entrepreneurial puzzle. They can also become your individual signature that is your leverage to greatly impact your success.
TOOL:
There are many ways to assess your strengths and personality types. Here are a couple FREE (we love free!) online resources:

Funny, one of the assessments said I was intelligent, open, full of adventure and imagination, yet not always agreeable and a tad neurotic. I bet my husband could have told me those things without my spending 15 minutes on the assessmentJ.
Seriously though, one of my personal favorite strengths assessments is the StrengthsFinder Test. This is not a free resource, but worth checking into for more detailed information that you can practically apply to your leadership skills, once you have a more complete understanding of your strengths.

What do you think?
What are your strengths? How do they impact your business?
Much like a carpenter, an entrepreneur needs a toolbox. A real workhorse, filled to the brim with the essential tools to do a quality job. An easy to tote, practical, and always-on-hand toolbox.
Consider this yours. Each week, we will offer practical tips and tools to help grow your business.
Have you used any of these tools? We would love your feedback. What worked, and what didn’t? Would you recommend them?
