Tips & Tools: How to Sell Your Info Products
Congratulations, you’ve done it. You’ve jumped the hurdle of creating your first info product.
Yes, you’ve conquered a huge battle, but did you know there are other battles to be fought? Maybe I exaggerate a bit; it isn’t as bad as going to war, but there are some things you must consider in preparation of selling your information product.
Here are the most important ones:
Set up your shopping cart. A shopping cart is the tool that is used to collect payment and information from the customer which will allow you to deliver their product.
Prepare your autoresponder. The autoresponder is the means by which you will deliver the product if it is a digital product. The autoresponder can be set up to do so automatically, saving you time and resulting in a happy customer.
Write your sales copy. Your sales copy is the content of the page that will help to sell your product. This copy should share with your readers why they “need” your product, what problem it will solve for them, and all the benefits of the product itself. This is a very important piece.
Create your sales page. Your sales page is where the magic happens, your potential clients or customers, read about the benefits of your product and are either convinced or not convinced of their need for it.
Integrate all of the above. All of the tools above must be integrated together to allow a sale to be made. This is the final step before you can begin to promote your information product.
