Dr. Candice Smithyman is Founder and Vice President of Dream Mentors Transformational Life Coaching Institute, a biblical life coaching educational organization that teaches and trains educators and coaches in the specialty of life coaching. She is also the President of the International Tribune of Christian Coaches, an international global alliance partnership organization that gives accreditation to biblical life coaching organizations that are affiliated with the Tribus organization.
She received her Doctorate of Divinity from Truth Bible College in Jacksonville, Florida. She has her Masters of Arts in Human Relations/Christian Counseling at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA, and is presently working on her Ph.D. in Counseling from Liberty University. She also holds a Masters in Theology from the International College of Excellence in Tinley Park, Illinois, and a Bachelor of Business Administration, from James Madison University. She has served as an Adjunct Faculty Professor for Liberty University and other universities.
Candice has appeared on international and local television and radio programs. Her radio show, The Get Real Connection and Coffee Break with Candice aired in various states across the country. She is published author of His Sufficiency for my Authenticity: 8 Keys to Authentic Relationship with God and Others (May 2006). She has also published biblical life coaching curriculum for secular and Christian organizations. Candice is a Board Certified Christian Counselor with the American Association of Christian Counselors, and is an ordained minister with Christ the Great Shepherd Ministerial Fellowship in Tyler, Texas. She presently co-pastors Freedom Destiny Christian Fellowship in Orange Park, FL with her husband, Dr. Adam Smithyman. She is mother to three beautiful and talented children, Alexandria, Nicholas, and Samantha.
