NACWE Speaker for June 2010: Jennifer C. Thomas

Jennifer C. Thomas is an influential and unique entrepreneur,  life/business coach and speaker. She has been running, maintaining, and growing her company, Piggies &Paws, Inc for ten years while raising her three young children.  Her knowledge surrounding the importance of nurturing family, friend and client relationships while defining personal gifts, realizing individual purpose and living a business dream, is positively impacting the success of other business woman all over the nation.  She has been featured on several NBC, CBS & ABC morning shows, as well as, being named “Hybrid’s Mom of the Week” by Hybrid Mom Magazine, a publication celebrating the multifaceted role of mom’s in business.

Piggies & Paws, Inc, a business made up of 200+, hand picked, independent artists, who create unique and exclusive artwork from children’s hand/footprints, was launched in 2000, when people started taking notice of Jennifer’s artistic gifts and the unique artwork she was creating using precious hand & feet. The love of her firstborn child inspired a whole new collaboration of children, art and décor and the word of her unique product spread quickly.  Her genuine desire to build relationships and the heart behind every piece she created and framed, began a recording breaking phenomenon in the way of word-of-mouth marketing-the only way Piggies & Paws has ever advertised.

Never desiring to be in business, Jennifer was stunned and quickly overwhelmed by the demand for her product, lack of business experience and raising a growing family. Through her struggles in a un-unified marriage, unexpected divorce and now, as a single mom, Jennifer managed the record breaking growth of her company and now speaks from that wisdom to train and coach the 200+ women who are running their own Piggies & Paws businesses selling and recreating her 500 copyrighted art designs, in their cities and states nationwide.

The growth and 10 year staying power of Piggies & Paws and her secure, family-like workforce, is no doubt, a result of Ms. Thomas’ deep desire to equip and empower her independent artists to become strong business women and success stories in their own right.  With a degree in Human Development & Family Studies from Colorado State University, she’s learned the key to personal success, especially in business, depends on inner wholeness and the support of genuine loving relationships.  This knowledge, coupled with her unquenchable desire for personal growth and wisdom, she is humbly, yet tenaciously influencing other women to succeed in their own business dreams.

Jennifer C. Thomas is a proud Christ Follower who gives God full credit for her gifts and successes. She is a member of Go B.I.G. Success Circle mastermind group and holds a charter membership with The National Association for Christian Woman Entrepreneurs. She cheerfully gives to several ministries and organizations like Hand of Hope, who strive to meet the emotional, cognitive and  physical needs of at-risk, orphaned or impoverished children all of the world.  She is currently living in Southern California where she loves eating and cooking great food, entertaining friends, snuggling her 3 beautiful babies and delighting in the Lord!
