Inspired Women Succeed: How to Live with a Brave Heart

May 17, 2011/in Diane's Blog/by Heather Rosson

Guest post by Sandy Myers

Inspired Women Succeed showcases 40 courageous women and their journey to successful entrepreneurship. In order to accomplish their God-given dreams, each woman confronts a defining, life-altering faith in the midst of uncontrollable and uncomfortable circumstances.

Inspired Women Succeed exemplifies the attributes of a Brave-hearted woman.

1. A brave-hearted woman has Inspiring Vision.

An Inspired woman knows her “Why” and does not drift away from her mission and purpose. These stories reflect the power of our beliefs as Christian women. Our purpose in life, as God originally intended is:

1) to glorify God and enjoy fellowship with Him

2) to have good relationships with others

3) to work/take action

4) to have dominion over the earth and succeed.

Inspired Women Succeed shares the lives of 40 purpose-filled female entrepreneurs who have discovered their “Why,” and have learned how to effectively communicate it to others, while daily living it out.

2. A brave-hearted woman has a Desire to Learn.

Inspired Women Succeed reminds us, as Christian women in business, to always strive to be the best version of you. It is important to learn and gain the knowledge you need to be successful.

3. A brave-hearted woman possesses a Willingness to Change.

We learn through Inspired Women Succeed, that God sometimes wants us to take a new direction. In the process of learning and becoming who God wants as to be as Christian Business Woman, He may require us to stop what we are doing and consider something new. He may require us get out of our comfort zone, and step out into something different, with a new mindset. He challenges us to be BOLD, and be BRAVE, and shine in our strengths and giftings. We must be willing to change and follow His leading.

4. A brave-hearted woman Commits to take Action.

Diane Cunningham, founder of NACWE, attributes her success to taking action quickly.  The person who makes a success of living is the one who sees her goal steadily and aims for it unswervingly. That is dedication and commitment. Diane’s story teaches us “She who implements first WINS and also learns lessons quickly!”

5. A brave hearted woman develops Persistence.

Inspired Women Succeed encourages readers to NEVER give up when adversity shows up. Many of the ladies on the Inspired Woman project overcame severe illnesses, tragedies, lawsuits, childhood hurts, and other major unexpected obstacles. The journey of an “Inspired Woman” is character-building, challenging, yet rewarding beyond measure. Resistance and opposition WILL come against us, but through our faith in Christ we can overcome and be victorious. Every blessing and new level of advancement in our business will brings its new set of challenges and trials.

Inspired Woman Succeed encourages us to be BRAVE in our growth-journey. This book is a powerful reminder that we are not alone as a business woman. God is with us, and He is interested in our personal success and transformation.

This book sounds good – and also what so many of us need. This entrepreneur stuff can get lonely! (and be very challenging). Thanks for the insights – just downloaded it and off to read! Thanks again!
