Writing a great book is no longer enough. To be successful in today’s noisy world, authors need both a great product and a great platform. Seasoned book marketers Michael Aulisio and Mandy Mullinix will give emerging authors ideas on various ways they can create or enhance their personal brand.
Michael Aulisio has a diverse background working in marketing and sales positions within publishing, radio, higher education, and pharmaceutical industries for companies such as Entercom Communications, Vanderbilt University, and The United Methodist Publishing House. He received his MBA in Finance from Lipscomb University and currently serves as Marketing Director of Gift Books and Devotionals at Thomas Nelson, Inc. Michael also serves on the board of Fifty Forward, a local nonprofit devoted to enriching the lives of adults 50+.
Mandy Mullinix is the Marketing Specialist for Children’s & Gift Books at Thomas Nelson, Inc. where she has worked for the past five years. Before working in publishing, Mandy held communications and marketing positions in the staffing and non-profit fields. She has a M.A. in Corporate Communications and currently teaches a Professional Communications course at Tennessee Technological University.
