Don't Give Up!
Two weeks ago, I went to the international street fair in my town. I woke up not feeling well but wanted to press my way anyhow. I was determined to setup my booth and give out my information about my business. I got up early to do the normal loading of the car. My kids helped me pack all the goodie bags to give out. Once I got there I got upset, and said to myself, here I am again along trying to make this work. I had got in self-pity mode. As I took the items from my car to my booth, I was saying it was easier when I had someone to help me, but I always seem to have to do it by myself.
As the day went by, the wind blew and continuously knocked down my tent. I didn’t give up. I kept passing out information about my business. A little time later the wind blows, knocks down the table and everything on it. Yet, I still didn’t give up. I picked everything up off the table and passed out the giveaway bags to the people walking by. I ended up passing out all the goodie bags and took the time out to talk to people as they went by. That day I decided I wasn’t going to let anything or anyone stop me from doing what I know in my heart, that I want to do.
Do you have that “I’m not going to let anything stop” attitude? Have you determined deep in your heart that no matter what, you are going to give it your all? It does not matter what comes – divorce, finances, sickness, or negativity from someone. When you think you are alone, God is there and will make away for you. Just remember DON’T GIVE UP!

I know those feeling all too well Cynthia. My kids have been pretty good about helping because they felt sorry for me (LOL) I get more of the negativity from people around me and some times it’s hard not to think about what was said. As you said “when you know in your heart it’s what you are to do” how can ANYTHING get us down! We are never alone, God is making a way for us, just because we don’t see it doesn’t mean we are not to believe it. Did you or I SEE Jesus hanging on that cross, yet we believe with all our heart that he did it for us. If we believe that then we have to believe the promises given to us in that. Thanks!!
