Why Most Christian Entrepreneur Groups Leave You Feeling Spiritually Starved (and What to Look for Instead)

October 15, 2025/in Uncategorized/by Heather Rosson

She sat in her car, keys still in the ignition, staring blankly at the oversized coffee cup in her hand.

Another networking event. Another half-smile-and-nod conversation about “collabs” and “funnels” and “scaling.”

Another moment where she felt… alone.

And she thought, “Why does this always feel so off?”

If you’ve ever walked into a so-called Christian entrepreneur group and walked out feeling like you had to choose between business advice or Biblical truth—you’re not alone.

And if that’s you, then sister, I’m about to tell you exactly what’s going on, and where the real Christian entrepreneur groups are hiding.

The Problem With Most “Faith-Based” Entrepreneur Groups

Let’s get brutally honest for a second.

A lot of Christian entrepreneur groups out there are either:

  • A business coaching group with a Christian fish slapped on the logo…
  • Or a sweet Bible study circle where no one talks about money or marketing.

Our ideal NACWE woman? She’s somewhere in the messy middle.

She’s got a calling and a business. She’s built websites between loads of laundry. She’s written client emails during soccer practice. She’s posted Reels with worship music in the background—and then questioned if she was “doing too much.”

She’s trying to juggle faith and business, finances, and friendships like a woman on a tightrope, and all the while she’s wondering:

“Is there anyone else trying to do this Jesus-honoring-business-building-family-prioritizing-life?”

Yes. There is.

But first, let’s talk about the burnout cycle that leads women like her to those disappointing Christian entrepreneur groups in the first place.

The “Busy Believer Burnout” Is Real

You’ve probably been here:

You want to grow your business.

You search for Christian business support.

You join a group.

You get some good vibes and encouraging Scripture…

…but zero actual strategy.

Or worse—you go to a meeting with a business “mastermind” who pushes aggressive tactics that feel icky, and when you hesitate they say you’re “just afraid of success.”

But you’re not afraid of success. You’re afraid of compromising your integrity to get there.

You want to serve without selling out.

You want real marketing strategies that don’t make you feel like a fraud.

And if that’s not part of the equation, then that group may be “faith-ish”… but it’s not walking in the kind of God-given wisdom you’re looking for.

What Real Christian Entrepreneur Groups Should Do Differently

Here’s what a truly soul-anchored Christian entrepreneur group does:

  • Talks about Jesus AND pricing strategies.
  • Understands the pressure to “do it all” (without making you feel guilty).
  • Combines scripture and systems, so you don’t have to choose.
  • Supports women in every season—from “side hustle at 10pm” to “team of five.”
  • Helps you build income AND impact, without the shame spiral.

This isn’t just theory. At NACWE, we’ve built exactly that kind of space. Not just a group—a sisterhood.

It’s not about gathering for “inspo” and then leaving you to Google how to write your offer. It’s about giving you biblically grounded, business-smart support, and holding your hand as you take action.

You don’t have to settle for surface-level faith and fluffy tactics.

You deserve deep connection, honest conversations, and proven business support from women who walk the same road.

The 3 Questions to Ask Before Joining Any Christian Entrepreneur Group

Before you click “join,” ask yourself:

1. Do they help with real strategy—or just pray it out?

Prayer is powerful. But God also gave you a brain, resources, and other women who’ve figured out how to use both. Strategy isn’t unspiritual—it’s wise.

2. Is their version of “success” the same as yours?

If it’s all about “10K months” and beachside laptops, it may not fit the life God’s called you to. You want a group that talks about stewarding, not just scaling.

3. Do you feel like you can be all of you there?

Faith-filled. Business-minded. Family-loving. You shouldn’t have to downplay any part of yourself to belong. If you feel like you have to “tone it down” to fit in, it’s not your place.

What Makes NACWE Different?

There’s a reason women who’ve tried all the other Christian entrepreneur groups end up calling NACWE “home.”

We aren’t just a business program with a Bible verse attached.

We’re a community that gets the unique challenges of women who love Jesus and want to build thriving businesses.

We speak to Christian women entrepreneurs who are ready to pursue purpose, not just profits—and who want to do it in a way that aligns with their values.

Here’s what you’ll find at NACWE:

  • Monthly business trainings (no fluff)
  • Marketing strategies that match your values
  • A focus on faith, finances, and friendships
  • Women who will pray and proofread your launch email
  • Honest convos about what’s working (and what’s not)
  • Tools for creating space for rest while still making progress

And we don’t expect you to be perfect. In fact, we assume you’re showing up a little messy. A little tired. A little unsure.

That’s okay. We’ve got space for that too.

Final Word: Don’t Just “Join a Group”—Find a Sisterhood

There’s a reason Christian entrepreneur groups are trending.

Women are hungry for more than surface-level business advice or fluffy spiritual cheerleading.

They want real growth—with Jesus at the center.

And if you’re reading this wondering whether there’s a place for you—the woman juggling dreams and diapers and devotionals?

There is.

We saved you a seat.
