Building Confidence as Entrepreneurs
For the entire year of 2022, we – the National Association of Christian Women Entrepreneurs (NACWE.org) will focus on the theme Cultivating Confidence (#Godfidence) in Your God-given Calling to be who He has called you to be and to do what He has called you to do.

Questions:
- in Life: Do you sometimes look at the big picture and freeze?
- through Trials and Suffering: Do you sometimes struggle under the trials of life, small and big, and wonder where you will find the strength to continue on?
- as Entrepreneurs: As a woman in business/ministry have you started and stopped and started and stopped different projects and wondered why and how to get back on track?
Proverbs 3:26 in the NASB says,
“For the Lord will be your confidence and will keep your foot from being caught.”
The entire chapter is titled The Rewards of Wisdom. And the wisest man on earth, Soloman, gives advice to his sons and to us to seek wisdom first. Only through the wisdom given to us as Christian women entrepreneurs by the Lord, can we cultivate the confidence needed to be who He has called us to be and to do what He has called us to do.
“To HOLD the Reins of Confidence to Reign in life, through trials and as Christian Women Entrepreneurs in service for the Lord and for His people, we must hear, believe and obey God as He leads!”
-Karen Lindwall-Bourg
Entrepreneurship, our work in business/ministry can be a constant challenge. Praise God! We can HBO-Hear, Believe and Obey with Love!
Praise God! We can HBO-Hear, Believe and Obey with Love! He promises “ROO is more important than ROI!” or “Return on Obedience is more important than Return on Investment!” It’s Ultimately About Stewardship, Isn’t It?
Paul said, as he described keeping fervent in love for God and others,
in 1 Peter 4:7-11 NASB
“…therefore, be of sound judgment and sober spirit for the purpose of prayer. Above all, keep fervent in your love for one another, because love covers a multitude of sins. Be hospitable to one another without complaint. As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. Whoever speaks, is to do so as one who is speaking the utterances of God; whoever serves is to do so as one who is serving by the strength which God supplies; so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belongs the glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.”
Paul inspires us to be intentional and purposeful and self-controlled in our business/ministry endeavors. He encourages us to pray for one another, love one another as God Loves us [we join ourselves so closely to God’s love that we “echo” his forgiving, fervent love toward one another], be compassionate and hospitable, and give gifts of grace to one another. He asks us to serve others with the special gifts God has given us. He encourages good stewardship of His Grace and of all things, gifts and talents, time, money “with the strength of God, who supplies all things.” He reminds us that the gifts and strengths we have come from God who is to receive the glory and honor forever!
As Christian Woman Entrepreneurs, Confident Followers of God Excel in Entrepreneurship/Business and Ministry with a Kingdom Heart because Working God’s Way is the only way (we know because we’ve tried it our way for far too long)!
