What is marketing?

I know that you might think of marketing as a “bad word” You don’t want to be a sales person. You are not alone. I want to challenge your thinking and offer a mindset shift. I love marketing and found out along the way that I was actually quite good at it. You might surprise yourself! The BusinessDictionary.com tells us that marketing is the management process through which goods and services move from concept to the customer – thinking about the customer needs and their satisfaction. It consists of 4 elements: product, price, place, and promotion. Marketing is really about planting seeds – telling others about your business and using the gifts God has given you to help with their problems or pain.
