Ask Diane: Do Inspired Women really succeed?
Q:
You talk a lot about how “inspired women succeed.” I am new at entrepreneurship and need to know the reasoning behind this. I watch you and I understand that it is more than a catchy phrase—you really believe this. Can you help me understand why?
A:
Well, for one I love the word inspiration. It makes me happy. It feeds my mind with the type of creativity that I need. Inspiration also guides me, giving me a vision to follow, with an expected end result. Without a vision, I am lost.
Inspiration is the arousal of the mind to special unusual activity or creativity and/or divine guidance or influence exerted directly on the mind and soul of human kind.
God is the provider of inspiration and He has given us a purpose. We know that “with God all things are possible (Matthew 19:26).”
Inspiration gives:
- courage
- vision
- drive
Inspiration from God is anointed, and leads us to the success He has in mind for us.
My favorite quote is from John Wesley, “Catch on fire with enthusiasm and people will come for miles to watch you burn.”
Are you on fire? I truly believe when you are on fire (inspired), you will succeed!
