Diane Cunningham, M.Ed.

Founder

My mission is to inspire women to dream big, catch on fire, and change the world.

Diane Cunningham, M.Ed. is the Founder of the National Association of Christian Women Entrepreneurs®, a global association for women to connect, create, and collaborate. NACWE offers training, conferences, networking, and business strategies. NACWE was launched in May 2010 and has been building and expanding since that time, with members throughout the United States and Canada. She created NACWE in May of 2010 as a global association for women to connect, create, and collaborate through monthly online training, conferences, networking, and business strategies. This community and sisterhood is the premier place to learn marketing and mindset in a faith foundation, and it has members throughout the United States, Canada, and beyond.

In April 2017, Diane passed the torch to Karen Lindwall-Bourg as the new President of NACWE.

Diane Cunningham, M.Ed. is a Business Strategist and Mentor to Women.

She is a “renaissance woman” who lives with her heart on her sleeve and a permanent smile on her face.

She creates. She is a cheerleader to all those she meets. She has been called a “creative machine”, a “pied piper of people” and a “passionate heart artist”. She loves to provide women with opportunities to go on brave adventures near and far. She coaches women (and a few brave men) on business strategy, community building, authentic living, and so much more.

She coaches. Diane is a “business therapist,” plane crash survivor, author, consultant, speaker, 4 time marathon runner, and fun friend. She is addicted to coffee but living in recovery from alcoholism, one day at a time since 2013.

She leads. She has a Master’s Degree in Education (Guidance and Counseling) from Whitworth College in Spokane, Washington, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Interpersonal Communications.

She writes. Diane is the author of ten books (as of June 2022), five which are Amazon Bestsellers, including The Inspired Business Toolkit and the Rock Bottom is a Beautiful Place Book Series.

She laughs. She currently lives in Dallas Texas. She is married to her very own Private Investigator who owns his own business and they exchange notes throughout the day about business ideas, options and tactics! You will find them at Jason’s Deli most Tuesday’s for dinner. LOL

She loves. Above all else… Diane is a heart girl and loves people relentlessly. She gives, she serves, she loves bravely.

Past President

I have loved every minute that we’ve spent together over the past 10 years while I’ve been a member of NACWE and over the past 5 years while I’ve served as your 2nd president!

Karen started out in corporate America as a Medical Technologist and Laboratory Supervisor who was absolutely thrilled at pulling a successful and efficient team together to meet the needs of doctors and patients. She continued her career as a Licensed Professional Counselor and Biblical Counselor and opened a private practice. It’s still in operation today and she loves it! But as soon as she opened the doors in 2007 she realized no one had ever given her any information about how to grow her own business!

That’s when she started the Helping Professionals Alliance to help other people like her learn the ends and outs of running and growing a successful business. She had “lunch & learns” and then online webinars and invited guest speakers in. Sounds a lot like NACWE doesn’t it?! They grew to about 1800 members at which time she found Diane and NACWE and they started working together!

She became a NACWE member in about 2012 and not long after began to be very involved sort of as Education Coordinator taking our webinars to new levels. Karen took over the presidency of NACWE in 2017 and have had a blast! You, NACWE sisters, have made her world go ‘round for 5 wonderful years!

During Karen’s presidency she established Karen Bourg Companies, now named RHEMA Kingdom Coaching. She coached other entrepreneurs and business owners in 3-4 month increments and love growing alongside Kingdom clients!

RHEMA Publishing House was created where she helped writers write and authors publish in an indie or hybrid or Shepherd publishing manner. She served somewhat between traditional publishing and self publishing and allow the clients to create their own custom package for “done for you” services toward publishing.

She continued to function as owner and supervisor of RHEMA Counseling Associates. All while she traveled all over the United States and into Guatemala three times to work with Christian women entrepreneurs. To work with you!

Karen adopted a student from Guatemala, Vilma, and will continue to sponsor her until she graduates from high school. She lead a ton of webinars, prayer calls, coffee and chat dates, co-working blocks, challenges, specials, planning sessions, VIP days, VIP weekends, trips, journal sessions, and so much more.

Karen hopes to write more, publish more, counsel more, coach more, travel more, work less, rest, and still remain friends with NACWE sisters for the rest of my life!

“Heather, I can’t think of anyone better suited to take over as the 3rd President of the National Association of Christian Women Entrepreneurs. I wish you all the best and I’m here for you! You and NACWE sisters are in my prayers every day!”

-Karen
