4 Marathons that I Have Completed!
This blog series has been a learning experience for me. It has pushed me out of my comfort zone on many levels. I have had to dive deep down into my creative resources to think of topics, come up with lists and then share my heart. Before this series, I rarely ever blogged here on the NACWE site. I let other members have the room and let myself off the hook with excuses.
Writing this series is a bit like running a marathon. I have completed 4 full marathons (26.1 miles) during my life and they take planning, endurance, and a lot of fuel. You have to be willing to keep going, even when you want to stop. You have to prepare for challenges. I have done all of those things during this blog series. I wrote while on vacation in California during the 4th of July. I wrote to prepare for weekends that I was going to be serving on a ministry team in Dallas. I wrote out a tentative plan for each day and had an assistant help me. (Thank you Alison Gillespie of DeepRootedMarketing.com)
These are the marathons that I have completed:

- Maui
- San Diego Rock and Roll
- Nashville Country Music
- Portland Oregon

At this point in my life, I run half-marathons and have completed 2 of those already in 2012. And now that I am turning 40, I will cross over into the Master’s Division for running. Very cool!
I promise to keep running and I promise to keep blogging. Both are good for me!
