26 Things That I am Grateful For!

26 days until I turn 40.  After surviving a plane crash in 2011, I find myself grateful for many things that I could have (or did) take for granted before!

Here are 26 things that I am grateful for today:

1. Being alive
2. Having a business
3. My faith
4. My parents
5. My sisters
6. Being an aunt (and being called Auntie Texas)
7. The fact that I love to read
8. My friends all over the world
9. That I know how to type
10. That I see the world from a open and nonjudgemental perspective
11.  That I have learned to fail
12. How technology can be used for good
13. Ice cubes
14. A car with air conditioning
15. Having the chance to travel throughout the United States (and recognizing how different and yet how similar we all are)
16. ear plugs
17. ceiling fans
18. A body that can move and run and dance
19. A heart that has been broken but is willing and able to love again
20. People that help me to do what I do best, by doing what they do best
21. The ipad I am typing this on while I am flying across the country and the bluetooth technology that is allowing my keyboard to work
22. Sunshine
23. Friends that allow me to be totally strange and weird (totally ME)
24. Having two local places where I can walk in and they know exactly what I order before I have to say a word
25. Being able to start over, hourly, daily, and as needed!
26. My new love of painting
