How to Have Faith in God Completely (Even When You’re Out of Coffee and Clients)

November 26, 2025/in Christian Woman Entrepreneur, Devotion to God, Entrepreneur Community/by Heather Rosson

Ever cried in the church parking lot with a to-do list longer than the book of Leviticus? I have. And if you’re reading this, I’m guessing you’ve been there too.

It usually starts with something small: You spill your coffee, your kid forgets their science project, a client ghosts you (again)… and suddenly you’re asking yourself:

“How am I supposed to trust God with everything when everything feels like it’s falling apart?”

Welcome, friend. Let’s talk about what it really means to have faith in God completely—without needing to fake it, force it, or fold under pressure.

What Does “Faith in God Completely” Even Mean?

If you’re like most NACWE women, you’re not new to faith. You’ve led the Bible study, sung the worship songs, and probably taught Sunday School while launching your Etsy shop and cooking gluten-free pasta.

But when we talk about complete faith, we’re not talking about saying “God’s got this” while secretly refreshing Stripe to see if any payments came through.

We’re talking about:

  • Trusting Him with your business strategy.
  • Believing He’s still good even when your launch flops.
  • Knowing He sees you when nobody else likes your post, buys your thing, or validates your worth.

It’s not passive. It’s not ignoring problems. It’s active surrender. (Yes, both at the same time.)

1. Faith Doesn’t Mean You Have a Business Plan From Heaven

I wish it did. Imagine an angel dropping a color-coded, revenue-generating Trello board straight from heaven.

But most of the time, faith looks like walking into the fog—one obedient step at a time.

In fact, Hebrews 11:8 reminds us that “by faith, Abraham obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going.” Sound familiar?

So no, you’re not failing because you don’t have it all figured out. You’re walking by faith… which might actually be the plan.

2. Your Fear Is Not a Faith Failure

Let’s get honest: We Christian women entrepreneurs are great at shaming ourselves for being scared.

But friend, feeling fear doesn’t mean your faith is broken.

Even Jesus sweat blood in Gethsemane. Complete faith is not the absence of fear—it’s choosing to trust anyway.

You can be nervous about raising your prices and still trust God. You can doubt your worth and still believe He called you. You can cry (in the car, in the pantry, or in the parking lot) and still be a woman of faith.

3. Faith Means Leaving Room for Miracles… and Mistakes

Sometimes God shows up in jaw-dropping, miracle-level ways. Other times… He lets us mess up, miss the mark, or miss the sale.

And both are part of the story.

If you’re waiting for perfect conditions to trust Him—good luck. Ecclesiastes 11:4 says:

“Whoever watches the wind will not plant; whoever looks at the clouds will not reap.”

In other words: if you’re waiting until everything feels “right” to take the next step, you’ll be standing still for a long time.

Start the business. Raise the price. Send the pitch. Write the devotional. Record the course.

Your faith isn’t in the outcome—it’s in the One who owns it.

4. Obedience Is Greater Than Outcomes

Here’s the hard truth I had to learn (and relearn every month): Faith isn’t always rewarded with a testimonial and a five-figure launch.

Sometimes obedience looks like doing the right thing and getting… crickets.

But we are not called to be successful on the world’s terms—we are called to be faithful.

So whether 1 person or 1000 show up—your yes matters. Your faith is not wasted. God sees you when nobody else does. And that quiet, consistent obedience? That’s complete faith in action.

5. Community Helps You Trust God on the Days You Can’t

One of the fastest ways to lose faith is to try and do it alone.

If you’re only talking to your planner, your podcast queue, and your Pinterest board, you’re missing one of God’s greatest gifts: community.

You don’t need more noise—you need like-minded women who can pray with you, brainstorm with you, and remind you why you started when you feel like quitting.

This is why NACWE exists. Because you were never meant to figure it all out alone.

When you’re too tired to pray, we’ll hold space for you. When your faith feels weak, we’ll remind you who your God is. When you start spiraling, we’ll text you Scripture (and maybe a meme or two).

Practical Ways to Strengthen Your Faith (Even When Life Is Loud)

Here are a few small, daily habits that can help you stay rooted in complete faith—even when everything’s chaotic:

  • One verse. Every day. Just one. Write it. Tape it to your laptop. Let it preach to your doubt.
  • Ask God first. Before checking Instagram or asking a coach, ask Him what He thinks.
  • Create space for rest. Yes, literally. Faith means trusting that the world won’t collapse if you stop working.
  • Say no quicker. Every “yes” to something God didn’t assign is a “no” to something He did.
  • Stay in community. You already know this. Just do it. You need people who get you.

So, How Do You Have Faith in God Completely?

You trust Him with the email that no one opened. You trust Him with the coaching call that went off the rails. You trust Him with the launch, the bills, the budget, the breakdowns.

You trust Him when you’re confident. You trust Him when you’re curled up on the bathroom floor wondering why you thought you could do this.

You practice how to surrender to God even when it’s inconvenient. You learn to balance faith and business without compromising either one.

That’s complete faith.

Not shiny. Not filtered. But real, raw, everyday trust in a very faithful God.

Your Next Step? Come Where the Faith-Filled Women Are.

If you’re tired of trying to figure out how to run a business and have faith and stay sane (all while looking like you have it together)… you’re not alone.

Join us at NACWE—where faith, business, and friendship collide in the best possible way.

You were never called to do this alone. Let’s walk this road together—one obedient, faith-filled step at a time.

Where to Start Reading the Bible Daily (When You’re Busy, Tired, and Still Want to Hear from God)

November 19, 2025/in Christian Woman Entrepreneur, Devotions/by Heather Rosson

I used to think reading the Bible daily meant waking up before sunrise, sipping something holy in a mug with “Blessed” on it, and being filled with peace before the day began.

Spoiler: That was not my life.

Because here’s what really happened:

I woke up to a kid yelling “Mom!”, burned my toast (again), and couldn’t find my planner. I opened my Bible, flipped somewhere random, and landed on a passage about animal sacrifices. 🐄

I closed it.

“Maybe I’ll try again tomorrow.”

Sound familiar?

If you’ve ever wondered where to start reading the Bible daily, especially when you’re in a season of building a business, trying to keep your faith strong, and also maybe remembering to eat lunch before 3 p.m.—you are not alone.

Let’s break it down together. No guilt. No fluff. Just grace and a starting place.

Why Daily Bible Reading Feels So Hard (But Doesn’t Have to Be)

Let’s be honest—most Christian women entrepreneurs aren’t struggling because they don’t love God.

We’re struggling because we’re running businesses, leading ministries, managing the house, feeding people (again!), and trying to remember if we drank any water today.

You’re not lazy. You’re just tired.

And maybe, just maybe, you’re not only looking for a routine—you’re craving creating space for rest, too.

So let’s ditch the pressure of reading for an hour a day and start with something doable.

The goal? Connection over completion. That’s it.

Where Not to Start (Unless You Like Confusion)

When you open your Bible and land in Leviticus or Revelation as a beginner, you might think:

  • “What does this have to do with my life?”
  • “Wait, what’s a cubit?”
  • “Why is everyone so angry?”

These books are important, but they’re not always the best starting place—especially when you’re tired and just trying to hear from God before your next Zoom call.

So, Where Should You Start Reading the Bible Daily?

Here are 4 Bible books that are perfect for Christian women who want to connect with God daily (and still have time to run a business):

1. The Gospel of John — Start with Jesus

If you’re overwhelmed and want clarity, start with the Gospel of John.

It’s simple, powerful, and focuses on who Jesus is and why He came.

You’ll read stories that feel familiar, like Jesus turning water into wine (John 2), and others that remind you He sees you—even in your messy moments (John 4).

💡 Pro Tip: Read just one chapter a day and ask: “What does this tell me about Jesus?”

2. Psalms — Start with Emotion

Running a business while keeping your faith intact isn’t just a productivity problem. It’s emotional.

Psalms gives you permission to feel all the feelings—joy, overwhelm, frustration, hope.

It’s like journaling with King David as your accountability partner.

If you’re having a “why am I even doing this” day, go read Psalm 42. It’ll meet you there.

3. Proverbs — Start with Wisdom

Let’s be real: As entrepreneurs, we need wisdom like we need coffee.

Proverbs is full of bite-sized wisdom you can chew on all day. It won’t take long to read a chapter, but it will stick with you when you’re making decisions about clients, pricing, or pivoting your offer.

💡 31 chapters = 1 per day. Match the chapter to the day of the month. Done.

4. Luke + Acts — Start the Full Story

If you want to know what Jesus did and what happened after, read Luke (his life) followed by Acts (what the early church did next).

It’s perfect if you want to see how regular people (just like you) were used to do world-changing things—without perfect plans or Pinterest-worthy devotion time.

How to Actually Build the Habit (Even If You’ve Failed Before)

Let’s pause here.

Because knowing where to start reading the Bible daily is one thing.

Actually doing it daily is another.

Here’s what has worked for me (and thousands of other women trying to follow Jesus and run a business):

✅ Keep your Bible visible
If it’s buried under receipts, you won’t read it. Put it on your desk. Or your kitchen counter. Anywhere you’ll see it.

✅ Tie it to something you already do
Read while you drink your morning coffee. Or after you check your planner. Tiny habits matter.

✅ Use a journal or app
Write just one line about what stood out to you. Don’t overthink it. You’re not writing a theology paper.

✅ Give yourself grace
Miss a day? That’s not failure. That’s called “being human.” God’s not keeping score. Just pick it back up tomorrow.

But What if I Still Feel Like I’m Failing Spiritually?

Can I tell you something that most business podcasts won’t?

Reading the Bible daily doesn’t earn you favor with God. It’s not another box to check.

It’s a way to remember you’re loved. A reminder that your worth isn’t in your revenue. A chance to hear God’s voice when the world (and your inbox) gets too loud.

God isn’t looking for perfect attendance.

He’s just looking for your heart.

Even five minutes of real connection can change your whole day.

Want Help Making Faith a Priority in the Middle of Your Business Life?

At NACWE, we get it. We’re a community of women who are growing businesses and building our faith at the same time.

You don’t have to choose between faith and business—they were always meant to go together.

And if you’ve been praying for my business to grow without losing your spiritual footing… friend, this is your invitation.

If you’ve been trying to do it all on your own—and it’s not working—maybe it’s time to try something different.

You don’t need more hustle.

You need a community that reminds you who you are and what God called you to do.

👉 Join us at NACWE and let’s walk this out together.

Final Thoughts

Starting to read the Bible daily doesn’t require perfect routines or early mornings with quiet children (though bless it if you get one of those).

It just takes one small yes.

One chapter.
One prayer.
One woman who decides that her faith matters, even on the busiest days.

That woman? She’s you.

Bible Verses for a Woman of God: Strength, Grace, and Purpose

November 5, 2025/in Christian Woman Entrepreneur, Devotion to God, Devotions/by Heather Rosson

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but if your Bible is open on your desk, your toddler is wiping peanut butter on your laptop, and your Zoom meeting starts in 3 minutes…

If you are searching for bible verses about being a woman of god, this collection provides the spiritual foundation you need for your daily walk.

You’re just a woman of God trying to live out her calling — in the real world.

And sometimes, that calling doesn’t feel holy or polished or pretty.

It feels like laundry and invoices. Or text messages left on read. Or a beautifully organized planner that’s still not helping you catch up.

If you’ve ever whispered, “Lord, what are You doing with me?” while staring at your bank account or your latest business analytics…

…this post is for you.

Whether you’re mid-prayer, mid-launch, or just mid-mess, these Bible verses for woman of god are here to anchor you — not just as a woman, but as a Woman of God.

So let’s dive into 17 Bible verses that will remind you of who you are, Whose you are, and why you’re still showing up — even when it’s hard.

1. Proverbs 31:25 – “She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.”

This one’s a classic. But let’s not treat it like a Pinterest quote. This is not about smiling while your world burns. It’s about knowing your God holds tomorrow — so you can show up today, even in your slippers and second cup of coffee.

2. Isaiah 40:31 – “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength…”

If you’re running on fumes (or lukewarm coffee), this is your refuel verse. His strength doesn’t come in to-do lists. It comes in trust.

3. Luke 1:45 – “Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill his promises to her.”

You still believe. Even when you can’t explain why. That makes you blessed, sister. Not behind.

4. Psalm 46:5 – “God is within her, she will not fall.”

Let this one sit deep in your bones. This isn’t about being perfect — it’s about being held.

5. Philippians 4:13 – “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

Yes, even that awkward client call. Or writing your first email funnel. Or asking for the sale without sounding weird.

6. Esther 4:14 – “Perhaps you were born for such a time as this.”

Maybe this is the moment you were made for. Not later. Not someday. This one.

7. Proverbs 3:5-6 – “Trust in the Lord with all your heart…”

When the strategy doesn’t make sense, the sales are slow, or you feel invisible… this verse still stands. Trust first. Then take the next right step.

8. Romans 8:28 – “And we know that in all things God works for the good…”

Even the email no one opened. Even the launch that flopped. Even the awkward conversation. He. Uses. Everything.

9. 2 Corinthians 12:9 – “My grace is sufficient for you…”

Your weakness isn’t a liability. It’s an invitation. You don’t need to hustle for grace — it’s already yours.

10. Galatians 6:9 – “Let us not grow weary in doing good…”

You are doing good work — even when it doesn’t feel like it. Even when nobody claps.

11. Jeremiah 29:11 – “For I know the plans I have for you…”

It’s not too late. You’re not behind. He’s not done.

12. Psalm 139:14 – “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made…”

That quirky way you tell stories? The way you doodle your dreams in the margins? That’s not random. It’s design.

13. Matthew 6:33 – “Seek first the Kingdom of God…”

Business plans are important. So are funnels and opt-ins. But seek Him first, and everything else gets its rightful place.

14. John 15:5 – “Apart from Me, you can do nothing.”

You can’t out-strategize the Holy Spirit. Don’t try. Abide first. Then build.

15. 1 Peter 5:7 – “Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.”

That pit in your stomach before your webinar? That overwhelm on Monday morning? Toss it at His feet. He can take it.

16. Zephaniah 3:17 – “The Lord your God…will rejoice over you with singing.”

He’s not waiting for you to “get it together.” He’s already delighting in you. Now. Even in the mess.

17. Hebrews 10:23 – “Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess…”

Some days, hope feels slippery. But hold on. You’re not building alone.

Why These Verses Matter for Women of God in Business

Because business is personal.

You’re not just building a brand. You’re pouring out your heart, your time, and your calling.

These verses aren’t just spiritual fluff — they are real-time tools for Christian women entrepreneurs who feel like their inbox and their prayer list are both overflowing.

Whether you’re struggling with email strategy or simply creating space for rest in your chaotic schedule, these scriptures are a lifeline.

So yes, use these verses in your journaling, on sticky notes, or in your morning routine.

But more than that — let them shape how you show up.

A Gentle Word for the Woman of God Reading This

If you’re tired, you’re not broken. You’re just doing something that matters.

And sometimes, the most powerful thing you can do today is not batch content or brainstorm your lead magnet — but simply open your Bible and remember who you are in Him.

It’s okay to pause. To breathe. To ask Him again how to trust God when everything is going wrong — because trust isn’t a one-time deal. It’s a rhythm.

You are walking the tension of faith and business, and that’s no small thing. But you don’t have to do it alone.
